Courses
Manual
Manual Transmission Cars
Driving a manual car has the ability to make you in control of your vehicle. It involves using the 3 pedals: clutch, break and accelerator pedals and shifting gears manually. This results making driving more fun.
Each student besides learning how to control a manual car, one is required to learn parking and reverse manuavers in order to pass the driving test.
Automatic
Automatic Transmission Cars
Driving an automatic car, the vehicle itself decides when to shift and thus as the name suggest it autmatically changes gears for you. This results in making the driver less in control of the vechicle, however on the other hand one can be more focused on the road.
Each student is still required to learn parking and reverse manuavers in order to pass the driving test.

The Instructors
Nicholas Bray
Qualified driving instructor since 2011
One of the many reasons of becoming a driving instructor is that I look forward meeting new pupils because of the fulfillment when they pass their test especially on first attempt (with Bray Academy this happens very regularly…Not to boast just stating facts).
One of the greatest satisfaction of the job is seeing students build their confidence over the following weeks of driving.
I am a big believer in making lessons enjoyable and fun for the students, a motivator for each student to look forward for each driving lesson.

Christopher Bray
Qualified driving instructor since 2013
Every pupil is a challenge, all with different methods of teaching and pace of learning. There is always a feeling of accomplishment when someone masters a maneuver that they were finding difficult to master. It might be a particular type of junction or a parking exercise but the look on their face is worth all the effort that I put into my job.
Like every job, being a driving instructor has its own ups and downs but the great results achieved in the past years has been worth the change in my career line. So…Bring on the challenge!
